About role

We are looking for a Researcher, who will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and establishing cooperation with influencers to build a network of brand ambassadors and promote products via affiliate links. 

A few words about the team

You will be working independently on a long-term project and reporting directly to Project Manager. 

Your tasks

1. Building an influencer database:

  • Identification of micro- and nano-influencers on the local market, especially those interested in sports, sports events, betting and online entertainment
  • Analysis of influencer profiles in terms of engagement, content quality and potential for cooperation with the brand
  • Preparation of detailed reports with analysis of influencer data and recommendations for the team.

2. Conducting briefings and onboarding

  • Contact with influencers to present cooperation opportunities and program conditions
  • Conducting initial training and briefings on campaign goals and expectations towards influencers
  • Verification of influencer registration data and their applications to the program (including checking the correctness of contact information and membership in closed WhatsApp groups)

3. Reporting

  • Regular reporting of progress in building the influencer network and KPI implementation (including the number of influencers acquired, their activity in the program)

Job requirements

Must have

  • Ease in establishing contacts and building long-term relationships
  • Knowledge of local culture and specific needs of the target group (people interested in sports, betting and online entertainment)
  • Punctuality and conscientiousness, ability to organize work in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in navigating SoMo platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X) and the ability to use them to evaluate influencers
  • Basic analytical skills and knowledge of working in spreadsheets
  • Fluent in English
  • Communicative level in Swahili
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan entertainment market and cultural specifics

Nice to have

  • Experience working with micro- and nano-influencers or in the online entertainment market
  • Experience as a researcher (other industries may be considered)
