About role

We are looking for a motivated Node.js Developer with Java to build scalable backend solutions and innovative features. You will work on projects such as KYC automation, P2P transactions, and mobile payment integrations in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. A few words about the team

You will collaborate with a team of Mobile Developers, Backend Developers, and a Business Analyst to extend a constantly growing new platform. In case of any technical decisions, CTO is actively also developing the product. The team’s focus is on creating innovative, real-world functionalities while maintaining a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Your tasks

  • Design, implement, and develop backend applications using Node.js.
  • Development and expansion of the routing system, which is primarily built in Java.
  • Create and optimize RESTful APIs.
  • Develop innovative features such as automated KYC processes, peer-to-peer transactions, bill sharing, and mobile payment integrations (e.g., BLIK).
  • Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Participate in designing system architecture and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems.
  • Collaborating with team members

Typescript, Node.js, Serverless (AWS Lambda), Java

Job requirements

Must have

  • Practical experience with Node.js (commercial or personal projects).
  • Practical experience with Java (routing system).
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or Koa.
  • Practical experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL).
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest).
  • Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
