About role

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team and work on advanced IT solutions for one of our clients. You will be part of a bigger team responsible for creating new accounting software and ERP platforms. The client is already very respectable in that market and is looking for another competitive advantage.

A few words about the team

You will be working on a long-term project with a collaborative team composed of Project Managers, Developers and Business Analysts all focused on delivering a high-quality and easy-to-extend platform.

Your tasks

  • Developing and maintaining applications in Python using the Django and Django REST framework
  • Integrating applications with external systems and databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Implementing asynchronous processes and microservices with Celery
  • Optimizing existing code and developing new functionalities
  • Maintaining and expanding APIs and tools that support system communication
  • Writing unit and integration tests for developed modules
  • Working in the GitLab environment, including version control and CI/CD management

The technologies you will be using

Python, Django, GitLab, Celery, Testing: model-bakery, pytest--docker-integration, Libraries - some of them: gunicorn, psycopg2-binary, requests, sqlalchemy

Job requirements

Must have

  • At least 3 years of experience in Python development

  • Proficiency in the Django and Django REST framework along with its ecosystem

  • Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL)

  • Experience with asynchronous systems, especially Celery

  • Familiarity with Docker

  • Fluent in Polish writing and speaking 

Nice to have

  • Experience in integrating with ERP systems

  • Experience working with CI/CD processes

  • Understanding of tax regulations in Poland and previous experience in developing accounting applications
