QA Engineer

Role:

• Ensure that each release of our application meets high standards of functionality, performance, security, and usability

• Develop and execute test plans and cases for manual and automated testing to ensure ongoing high quality in deployments and features

• Identify, document, and track defects. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve these issues

• Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team

• Optimize the QA process and implement best practices to enhance product quality

Profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and debugging of frontend and backend applications (JavaScript)

• Proficiency in manual testing (functional, regression, UAT) as well as automated testing (e.g., cypress)

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

• Strong problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)

• Familiarity with API testing and rational databases

• JavaScript Proficiency
