About createIT
We work on large, international and mature projects, frequently operating on gigabytes of data. As such, our projects require constant tweaking and optimization. Our teams are characterized by different sizes and workflow, and we offer a lot of flexibility when it comes to the choice of solutions. We mostly work with Seniors and experts in a given field, creating optimal grounds for the exchange of experience.
A few words about the team
Symfony is the DNA of createIT. We love to create web and/or mobile-based projects and have dozens of significant ones in our portfolio. Here we usually work with Symfony and Amazon Cloud, and this is where most cutting-edge technologies and the toughest challenges come into play. In the whole team, you will find about 10 experienced Developers. We work in teams consisting of 2-8 developers, depending on the project.
Your tasks
- Day-to-day development tasks in chosen technologies
- Delivering solutions in agreed time limit
- Taking part in project meetings - dailies as well as scrum-based sprint meetings - planning, retro, refinement
- Taking part in the process of planning and task estimation, correctly estimate medium sized tasks
- Supporting frontend developers to provide proper technical background for their work
- Creating and supplementing the technical documentation of the project

Job requirements
Must have
- English: B2
- Professionalism and target orientation
- Experience: 3-5 years of work experience as a PHP Developer
- Tech: PHP, Symfony 2-6 (min. 2-3 years of work experience), Docker/Vagrant/WAMP/LAMP/Ubuntu, OOP principles, knowing basic design patterns
- Experience working with: API (rest/soap), cache (Memcache/Redis)
- Tools: git (GitLab/GitHub/bitbucket)
- Willingness to learn to work with big data in an efficient and scalable way
- Practical knowledge of relational databases, MySQL
- Knowledge of GIT
- Care for the efficiency of created solutions
- Ability to work in a team and high engagement
Nice to have
- Higher technical/IT education
- Experience working with: WebSockets, other PHP frameworks (Laravel, Yii, Zend, etc.), AWS, serverless, microservices, cache (ElasticSearch, Varnish, etc.), unit tests
- Experience in: SCRUM/Agile/Waterfall, working in bigger teams
- Experience in working with big loads of data, database optimizations
